Text Box: Well, it’s month 12 of my presidency of MMCC. In many ways it seems like it’s been a short term, but in other ways it seems longer than 365 days.
I truly thank all of those dedicated members of our club who have faithfully volunteered and attended our fundraising and social events. Everyone needs to know the only jobs that get done are the ones people do. We have a strong core group in MMCC, but for it to stay strong and grow, everyone needs to become involved.
During the past year, our club has traveled, eaten, had meetings, eaten, partied, eaten, conducted fundraising events, and yes, we have eaten! Throughout all of these activities, we Text Box: have been successful in our endeavors. We have strengthened friendships and helped to build strong relationships with fellow clubs and charitable groups.
As I depart, I leave the reins of this club in the hands of the very capable Mike Lubbert. Please be helpful in words and deeds. Everyone will prosper from a total group effort. A special thanks to my fellow officers of the past year. Also to all who helped with the 2008 Corvette Cup. After being involved in one way or another with the Cup for 14 years, each year is special.
                     Thanks,
                      Wayne
