Meeting was held at the Claysville Store

Presiding Officer–  Wayne McCoy

Greeting/ Welcome of Visitors– None

Vice President’s report– Mary McCoy– June Club Meeting date changed to June 22nd due to Fathers Day.  Location to be announced.

Secretary Report– None

Treasurers Report– Club $2286.77  Cup $5995.68  78 pd members.  Tommy Mallory requested that members are reported as actual members not families.   Members should be reported as individuals so when elections are held, each member is shown as a paid member of the Club.

NCM report– 2009 Caravan– Anyone interested contact Bobby Mallory

New tickets for the 2009 corvette Drawing are available from Doc.

 

Miscellaneous– Norm Bauer is still at Lenoir– 876-2669 would love to hear from everyone, and have visitors.

 

Cup Donation to the Dream Factory was done this week , The Dream Factory treasury was dangerously low and had several Dreams pending and in need of the donation immediately.

Wayne read a Thank you letter from Mike Whitworth and the Central Missouri Dream Factory.  The donation of $19,106.02 was desperately needed .  The Club has raised over $130,000 for the Dream Factory  over the last 14 years.

Door prizes left over from the Corvette Cup were donated to the Carl Young fundraiser, A St. Louis Club, raising money to help the family of Carl Young with medical expenses.  They raised $2000 to help the family.  The club thanked our club for our generosity.

 

New Business:

Nominations for Officers 2008/2009 from the floor.—NONE

Memorial Day Parade– need 9 cars.  Meet at Applebees at 9:10 am

 

Andy's Custard– Tommy Mallory thanked all who participated in the activities.  Andy’s donated $100 to the Dream Factory.

Ron Rowland– FAST trip reservations will be taken till the end of the month.

3M picnic-  10AM—2PM at Cosmo Park– need volunteers– we will earn $450 for the Dream Factory

Trivia Night– Elks Lodge $200 for a table of 8– May 31 6PM 

Anchorfest Parade– Tinker reported that we would not be participating due to positioning behind the horses.
