Wayne called the meeting to order, he began by thanking Jackie and staff for the wonderful meal that we were provided.

Secretary report—none

Treasurer’s report– Club $ 2488.15 78 pd members and Cup $24,570

NCM Report—Doc Plue—Caravan 09 to the Museum.  Bricks are available for purchase for Members for $200– for floor in the  long hallway leading  to the new  addition .  High performance driving events  June 30– July 1.  $495 classes. 

Pace car raffle tickets  $100 each -2008 tickets to be sold.

Doc had a DVD of Caravan 09– Gave to Bobby Mallory.  Anyone interested in going on the Caravan 09, contact Bobby.

3M donated $3500 in door prizes to the Cup– all left over door prizes were donated to the Rt. 66 St. Louis Club for their fund raiser for Carl Young’s family to defray his medical costs.

3M picnic—6/7 10am to 2pm volunteers needed .  We get a $450 donation from 3M for our work.

Proposed slate of Officers: President Mike Lubbert, Vice President– Nellie Gruender, Secretary-Virginia Zumalt and Cheryl Poore and Treasurer—Alan Watson.

Cup–

Evaluations—PA System needs work, Rooms needs updating, Lighting needs work.  Every other category was great. 

Auction—Suggestion of a list of items and  the order of auction and a slide show of items. 

Dinner– Use long tables instead of round tables for space purposes. Dinner was great and the table decorations were a great touch.

Financials– A complete breakdown was distributed and reviewed.  A rug that was not at the Cup was auctioned at the meeting and raised $100 was added to the Cup income.

Newsletter Sponsor Ad– Tim Schamburg provided the artwork. 

2009 Cup– April 3&4 2009, Quality Inn.  Chairperson for the 2009 Cup is Dian Pauley.

Lewis told us about the Orscheln Farm and Home Show—June 13 Moberly

Ron Roland-  F A S T First Annual Shopping Trip to the Lake of the Ozarks  Oct 23 & 25.
